The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is pleased to announce the release of Measuring Bullying Victimization, Perpetration, and Bystander Experiences: A compendium of Assessment Tools. This collection provides researchers, prevention specialists, and health educators with tools to measure a range of bullying experiences: bully perpetration, bully victimization, bully-victim experiences, and bystander experiences. It represents a starting point from which researchers can consider a set of psychometrically sound measures for assessing self-reported incidence and prevalence of a variety of bullying experiences. The student version of the Swearer Bully Survey can be found on page 69. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding how to collect data on bullying/victimization/bystander behaviors in your school. To order copies of the compendium, complete an Order Form.
